What is the difference between a SketchUp NZ account and a Trimble AMP (Account Management Portal) account?

Trimble AMP and SketchUp NZ accounts are two separate accounts and they serve different purposes.

 When you purchase a product from us, you will be asked to create a site password. This is for your SketchUp NZ Account. You use your SketchUp NZ Account to manage your subscription billing, renewals and account details.

After your purchase, you’ll receive an email from Trimble to invite you to create a Trimble ID which is used to sign in to your Trimble AMP account.  You use Trimble Account to download your SketchUp subscription and other SketchUp products. 

It is important to note that the email address you enter at the point of purchase for your SketchUp NZ is the same email that you will use to create your Trimble ID.  The only exception is when the purchaser is an Administrator for a business account, and the subscription is allocated to another user. Here are the key differences between a SketchUp Australia account and Trimble AMP account:
