If SketchUp is showing “Activate Trial” even though you've already purchased a license/subscription, the most common causes are:
1. You're signed in with a different email address than the one used to purchase the subscription.
Please sign out and back in with the exact email used for the purchase. You can check the email that you had used on your invoice.
2. The license seat has not been assigned to your account
You must be assigned a license before the desktop application will recognize your subscription.
If someone else manages the available seats on your account, ask them to double check the email assigned to that seat. If the email address was misspelled or the wrong address was used they can make all the necessary updates. See Allocate SketchUp subscriptions to different users.
3. Your email used for purchase contained an error
If the email address used to purchase the subscription contained an error, we will need to rectify the error for you and reassign the license to the correct email. The subscription owner will need to contact us using the form in our Help Centre.
4. You purchased SketchUp Go instead of SketchUp Pro or Studio.
SketchUp Go includes SketchUp for Web and iPad, but does not include SketchUp for Desktop. If you try to use the desktop application with a Go subscription, you may see trial-related messages
