Transferring a License and Licensing Multiple Computers

A single-user license or sign-in subscription is associated with one person. That individual can install the license on up to 2 computers they are using. Only one computer device can run that specific version using that license at a time. Follow these steps to use your license on another device or transfer a classic license to a new computer:

1. If you have a classic license and you'll no longer be using it on that computer, remove your license from your current computer by following the steps in Authorizing or Removing a License.

2. Install SketchUp on the new computer. Please visit the download page to get the install file.SketchUp only provides download links for supported versions.

3. Authorize your license.

Please note that Classic Licenses for use with SketchUp 2017 and older versions can no longer be used to authorize SketchUp. These versions are no longer supported. For more information see End of Support Policy.
